Welcome to Rosy Boa Best Boa!
This is a hobby site to consolidate Rosy Boa info I find helpful, as a new Rosy keeper myself. I created this website because the best Rosy Boa info seems to currently be in Facebook groups. Since I am not on Facebook, I sadly do not have access to them.
But that’s okay! Because now I can collect the non-Facebook info I find helpful into this website. : )
I love learning about this brilliant snake, and thought it would simply be fun to have a place to share the info I learn as I come across it.
I’m thinking the menu/navigation bar will mainly be an assortment of links to Rosy Boa resources I’ve found the most helpful for us. Such as care sheets, or locality info. While blog posts will be either our experiences with our Rosy Boa, or more longform thoughts relating to Rosy Boas and their care or behavior in some way. We’ll see how the site develops. And adjust as we go!
Rosy Boa Best Boa is geared toward new or beginning Rosy Boa keepers, though every Rosy Boa keeper of any experience level are gladly welcome! Please feel free to share your opinions, insights, and expertise. (If you have a suggestion or correction you see on the website, you are always welcome to contact us.)
In chronicling what I learn about our Rosy Boa, I hope sharing our experiences might help fellow new Rosy Boa keepers, now or in the future.
Hopefully, this site becomes a helpful little resource for myself, and maybe fellow new Rosy Boa keepers who also do not have Facebook, haha.
About Julius, our Nichols Road Coastal Rosy Boa
- We brought home our juvenile Rosy Boa, Julius (pictured above), in the middle of January 2024. She is our little dragon to welcome the Year of the Dragon!
- Julius was born in late September. She was a little under 4 months old when we brought her home, and the most darling little creature.
- Julius’s locality is a Nichols Road Coastal Rosy Boa.
